Abstract


The present study attempts to identify the functioning of educational societies in Saudi Arabia and Jordan and the challenges being faced by them in functioning. Quantitative and qualitative approaches were utilized in the study for analysing the results. The study concluded that there was a convergence of the reality of educational societies in Saudi Arabia and Jordan. However, there were deficiencies in the development of specialization, professional development, and community service. Additionally, there was a set of challenges that hindered those in charge of societies from properly carrying outtheirroles.Furtherindividualswerefoundto lack awarenessabouttheimportance of scientific societies.
